These look shockingly like real candles from further away. My only complaint is that the remote is tricky if these are too close to one another, it will not control them properly (it may choose the wrong candle, which is just how remote controls work unfortunately). If they are far enough from one another that isn't a problem. I feel that it would better to have either individual remotes for each candle OR that they would all turn on and off together as a set.I ordered these to put in some of my Halloween decorative pumpkins, and they are beautiful! They are bright, cast a wonderful flickering effect, and the remote works great!Lights work well and provide a soft natural light. The dark tinted candles look especially fitting in our darkened fireplace. Brightness seems to depend to some extent on the batteries you use.I got these just for decor, but honestly? They turned out to be one of the best purchases I've made on here. They are pretty, the remote function is *chefs kiss* and the best part? Mine have been running for about 3 weeks, without being turned off. They're still going. They function as a night light now. BUY THEM!The containers are very light gray in color - not dark as indicated by the photo; thus, the candles are clearly white when turned on. Nonetheless, the remote and timer work perfectly - a very nice feature - and the flickering effect is also nice. Although I was hoping for candles that would coordinate more closely with fall decorations, I am happy with the purchase.They look like real glass even tho it’s plastic. So we’ll done.
