Random security feature
The instructions say that if there are no numbers displaying in the screen to plug in the timer for two hours so the internal battery charges before you can set the timer. I plugged it in overnight and still nothing, no numbers. I tried pushing the reset button and nothing. It is completely dead and worthless. Unfortunately, with shipping to and now to return it, I've spent almost as much on shipping charges as the cost of the timer.
