I really like the candles. They look realistic with the dancing flame. However, they had a strong perfume smell. I even rinsed the outside with a damp cloth dipped in dish soap, and the smell is still there (just weaker). I don't know if other people received a remote for these candles but I did not. However, I am keeping them because they look good and work well.
