Nice sound machine. I needed to buy one to drown out conversations from upstairs because apparently every apartment I've ever rented doesn't believe in soundproofing the walls or floors...Anywho, this thing has a lot going for it. Here's the pros:1. The Sounds. The sounds are nice, but also hit-or-miss. The best part is that they are non-looping, though there's still a rhythm. There's a few that I prefer and I pretty much just stick to those. And then there's others that are just...scary. Here's a list: Heartbeat: 1 regular heartbeat sound. 1 clock ticking. 1 random drops of water in a pool like you're trapped in a sketchy basement? And finally, 1 ambiguous clock-like rhythm. Ocean: 4 ocean sounds, some rhythmic waves, others more like middle of the ocean sounds. These are my favorite. Rain: 4 rain sounds. My second favorite list. One is probably the wettest thing I've ever heard. Another has birds, but it appears to abruptly stop in the sequence periodically. Fan: 1 regular fan noise. 1 creepy mechanical chattering with breathing in the background?? 1 sound of air rushing through a rickety old vent. And 1 very creepy old furnace sound?? Seriously, don't use this list unless you lived in a haunted house and have fond memories of sleeping there. White noise: 1 kinda high pitched mechanical noise. 1 very creepy machine that pumps water back and forth. 1 high pitched noise from a haunted TV. And 1 nice rain sound. Yeah, I don't use any of these either. Natural: 1 Bird song. 1 crickets. 1 babbling brook. And 1 even more babbling brook. Nice.2. Bluetooth: Bluetooth works. Ya hit the button and connect. I will say though, that the audio quality of the speaker is pretty lackluster. Ideal for podcasts or ambience, but not really suited for more dedicated listening.Timer: Works great, use it nightly.Light feature: Also works great. The brightest setting is a good brightness, as is the lowest.Battery life: excellent. Haven't even charged it yet. Also, if you connect via Bluetooth, your phone can tell you the battery percentage (or at least mine did).On the flip side, this thing does have some negative or some things that could be improved:1. First, the volume levels should probably be redone. It sounds like having 30 levels of volume would be nice, but I only use the first 4. There's pretty big steps of volume between each level, and I can't imagine what max volume would sound like (haven't tried, probably won't). When I use Bluetooth, I find myself being consistently dissatisfied with whatever volume I'm currently on - it's either too quiet or too loud.2. The actual speaker audio for Bluetooth/music ain't the best, but that might not necessarily be a problem depending on what you use it for.3. Some of the sounds skip some of the time. In going through the sounds writing this review, I noticed that a few sounds had recurring pauses in them. Hadn't noticed this before until now, but it's not a great sign.Overall, I do like this thing. I use it pretty often and the sounds I like to use work great. I also use it for listening to podcasts and sometimes music. I would recommend it, but there's lots of good options out there as well for this sort of thing.This sound machine is just the right size for my bedside table. It’s lightweight and has a great base that doesn’t slide. The volume control is good and I love the night light feature that has 5 levels. The sounds are nice, I especially like the running water mode. I find that I sleep through the night when I use it. I like that it has a timer with 3 levels. And my mom keeps asking me to get this white noise to help sleep. In the beginning, I really don’t believe this will help until I used it for a few weeks! YES! Wonderful and helpful! I wish I could get this earlier than now. And this little machine makes me sleep like a baby! Specially the ringing day. And it made very good quality. It is big plus for sure. Highly recommend.Liked that it lasted long but the biggest and only problem is that the volume for the sounds is super low and not good at all. Absolutely poor volume even on max.I love these so-called white noise machines. They always remind me of the HoMedic’s sound machines, something that everyone used to seem to have. They were expensive, but worth the expense. The company is still in existence, producing high-quality products. This particular white noise machine has a wide variety of sounds, twenty-four to be exact. If you want high-fidelity, take a pass as these are the standard sound loops I usually hear on these machines. It does, however, have Bluetooth capability.I’m fortunate in that I don’t have problems sleeping, but still enjoy these machines. This one has an assortment of white noises, fan sounds, and as well as nature sounds, which I love. The claim is for a varied audience, but is more in the adult realm. This has a small, but very comprehensive User Manual. There’s a high-quality USB cord as well and wall charger included in the box. The USB cord isn’t proprietary, fortunately. There’s no headphone jack with this machine.This is a rechargeable white noise machine can probably be used for ten plus hours on medium volume. It wasn’t long before I was checking out those sounds, which can be loud. The learning curve isn’t steep on this model as there are easy-to-understand symbols on the top. The sounds are, as mentioned, typical and easy to identify. I do enjoy the nature sounds, some quite fun and realistic (others not so much so). I like some of the sounds, but dislike some like the shushing, which given the variety is normal. Volume control was easy with a simple touch of a button. If I want, I can set this machine to operate on a timer up to four hours.For fun, I used to turn on an oceanside web cam to listen to the waves during my breaks at work. No there’s no need to do that because I can simply turn on this white noise sound machine and listen to them roll in. I find these sounds to be quite soothing, something I enjoy doing when I’m relaxing in the evening. It's not colored like some but it is easier to see around the room when you are checking in on a baby or moving around a dark room.There are a lot of sound options. Some have similar sounds but I like that there is a variety to choose from.It's easy to use with the buttons being pretty clear about what they're for.I hope this review helps!I really like the features but because many of the noise recordings are unusable and the volume isn’t anywhere near as loud as you need to actually tune out noise elsewhere, it’s not largely useful as a white noise machine.—Pros—- Smooth continuous sound play; no loop interruptions .- The Blue Tooth is great; easy connect and volume is better- The battery is ok. About 24 hours of continuous use as a sound machine. Several hours under Bluetooth (though I never tried max testing it).- The nightlight is quite useful. Not sure if it’s impact on batter as I’ve not duration tested it.—Cons—- Majority of the sounds included are completely unusable.- Volume control is not consistent across sounds- Volume strength is sorely inadequate; even with the speaker right next to you it doesn’t dull / cover external sounds.That all said, for a more reasonable price ($20 - $25 usd), it’s as good as other white noise machines out there (better given the blue tooth).
