Finally, I can stop buying these timers. I've been looking for the right timer for my focus/rest intervals for years. Here's the comparison1. vs. Time TimerTime timer is dead simple. Everything manual, you don't think much, you just set the timer one at a time. Simple to operate, but easy to forget about it altogether. Minee makes you set your program. If you know how long your focus time lasts, you can preset that as a focus time, set the rest time and how many times you want to repeat the session. Then it drives you to flow in the program. This makes it even simpler than time timer and also encourages you finish the whole set (# of sessions you wanted to focus/rest). The visual indicator is the same as time timer but without the numbers and it's not just 60minutes. It's whatever mins you set being the 100%. I love this feature that my focus time is the full circle and it gives me visualization of how much of that has passed.2. vs. Hexagon TimerA complete digital timer with the gyroscope to use the pre-set timers. Easy to set the time. Not so easy to pause, sometimes gives me too many options. The best thing about this is that it's so easy to have the pre-set timer. 5, 10, 15, 25, 30 are just a flip of the timer on one side. Super easy and convenient. This complements the minee timer well. You needs to turn it back to set the mins using -, + buttons. For me, I wouldn't bother setting it up and just do it without the timer if it were 5-15 mins. Hexagon Timer helps me for these small time windows. But once it goes beyond 30 minutes, the biggest strength of this timer vanishes and you end up with the same thing as the timer on your phone. That's when Minee kicks in with longer more structured pomodoro style focus/rest time. It's not really for a quick sprint from time to time. It's for those days when you want to sit down and accomplish what you have planned. I had mine set with 45 mins focus, 15 mins break, 3 sessions.All in all, the pros are the visualization of "the duration I defined" and its programmability to customize my focus/rest and intervals. The cons are the lack of convenience when it comes to small time window.Plus, it's the best looking timer out there.To start off, I really really like this timer. Very helpful and the lack of numbers makes me less nervous. And theres even settings to make it automatically do a set number of pomodoro sessions. Its also really aesthetically pleasingNow to the bad, the packaging keeps coming apart. I have bought like 4 of these. And all of them, the glue holding the lid to the box has failed and they separate a bit, sometimes completely. Not too bad when timer stays in its spot, but once it came very close to falling out. When I opened that one it had some box debris on it. (Leaving in this part of review so manufacturers can perhaps work on this)I like to use the pomodoro method when I study and had been looking for a pomodoro timer to put on my desk. However, I am someone who easily flinches when I am focused, so a kitchen timer would not have done the trick as they're usually pretty loud.Once I saw this Minee3 timer, I knew I had to buy it. First of all, it brings a nice touch to my desk, and secondly, the volume is rather low, so I've never flinched while using it. Unlike an ordinary analog timer, it doesn't tick when it turns, which is quite nice.It is true that setting it up is not very intuitive at first, but minee3 has a well explained tutorial video that can easily be found with a quick search on Google. Once you know how it works, it is very easy to use.Lastly, I had it delivered to Europe (where it is not yet commercialised) and the delivery was rather fast despite the distance (a little more than a week) and the package went through customs without any problem.Es justo lo que buscaba. However there are some particles stuck under the face that are hard to ignore, most notably this brown cardboard-like particle (pictured- it's large enough to cast its own shadow in my light)It is extremely distracting knowing that it has that speck stuck on the front! For the price, this kind of oversight in quality control is unacceptable. I would like a replacement.I was looking for a customizable pomodoro timer that 1) I didn’t have to reset for every work/rest time and 2) was esthetically pleasing and quiet enough to be used in an office setting. I think this is a fantastic upgrade for anyone who wants a fully customizable physical timer.
