I have been buying Luminara candles with remotes for years and think they are well worth the money.The pinecone on this candle is realistic looking. I was pleased with that, and it is going to look great on the table around the holidays. The "flame" is a piece of plastic that wiggles around. I hate when fake candle companies use those, but as long as one is not on top of it, it will still look fairly realistic. The price at the time of my review of $40 is very steep to me. I really cannot see myself paying more than $20 for this, but maybe that is just me or the brand. The candle is not that tall, so it is not a huge candle.This flameless candle is beautiful and high quality - so realistic looking. Obviously you can't go wrong with Luminara. I do find it to be pricey for one candle - I found the photos misleading. Overall, decent size and great quality, but would not personally buy again - there are better deals out there.I’ve been buying Luminara candles for years, and although they are pricey, they are by far the best faux candles I've tried. Luminara has mastered the effect of mimicking a candle. The photos don’t do it justice. The pinecone is made out of wax, and it looks like a real candle. It’s the perfect candle for fall or winter decor!This candle takes two AA batteries and they last a long time. On the bottom of the candle is a switch for On, Off, and Timer. The timer works great and turns the candle on at the same time every day, and turns off after 5 hours. This candle works with the Luminara remote you can buy separately. One remote will control all your Luminara candles.This little pinecone flameless candle is not only cute but very realistic looks as well. It has a timer function at the bottom next to the on/off switch, but I have yet to use it. I would love to get several more of these and decorate my fireplace mantle with it for the holidays.
