- I gave 5 out 5 for this product. It is much cheaper than the Canon one and does the same thing.- I did look at other ones in Amazon which are cheaper than this one, but I decided to go with this one due to the brand name. I haven't used the Canon or other brands, so I don't know how they are.- There is no on/off switch for this Remote Control, so I have to remove the batteries every time I am done using it. The manual/campan says they don't want the batteries to leak. It is easy to take the batteries out, if not batteries can stay in the remote control until it runs out of power. I guess batteries should last for good amount of time. I have had this product for about a month and I am using it for 5DM3 camera. It works well with the camera and I am sure it will work wel with others too.- This product comes with two AAA batteries. It is easy to use and the manual is easy to follow.
