This is just the replacement pump only. So If your upgrading your 1000 gph intex pump (which I highly recomend), I would purchase the upgrade kit that they offer for $107. I have the 15ft Intex Easy Set pool. It came with a pitiful 1000gph filter that did a poor job of keeping the pool clean but lasted for 3 seasons before dying without warning. So I ordered this pump for $85 and the Intex Type B adapters to fit my pool thinking that I could use my old hoses. I was wrong. You need the matching hoses and plungers to hook up to this filter. The vendor, MY Quick Buy took care of the whole problem by sending me the hoses and plungers for $27.99 shipped. Customer service is closed on the weekends but they called me bright and early Monday morning with quick and courteous service at a good price. This is the best $100 dollars that you could possibly spend on your pool. What a night and day difference.Poor suction power. Bought for a 15 ft above ground pool. Have bought this particular pump before so it should have had more than enough power to keep my pool clean.Installed this about a month ago for our 10' stock tank pool. Seems to work great. Very happy with it.We have an 18X48 above ground Intex pool, and have had it for about 3 summers now. It is a lifesaver for the hot, humid Texas springs, summers and sometimes autumn. However, the pump that comes with that pool (1600 gph) has not been so great. We have had the pool 3 years and we had two 1600 gph pumps go out. I was about to order a new 1600 gph pump when I started reading through reviews of individuals who had the larger above ground pools. They had the same inefficient filtering that I was having with the original pumps, so I decided to upgrade as well. I am so glad I did!! This pump is so much more powerful, and more efficient than the original. The pool has never been so clean and clear!! It is fantastic!!Everything matched up perfectly and runs like a charmReplacement of swimming pool pump and filter. Easy replacement.love this pump. Definitely better than the one that came with the pool. Timer on this pump is a MUST! very helpful for running time. Love The connection for the blow out part on the walk of the pool.. Does not have a screen right in the middle....fully open hole....always had to repeatedly clean the screen part on the old one...if I ever have to replace this I would definitely purchase this pump again.
