I got this as a replacement timer for my wildgame feeder. It connected easily and tested good. However, after a week of not hunting that feeder I came back to it to hunt and it didn't spin that evening. I checked the battery and it was good and it even did a test spin good. I left that evening thinking it was good now and came back the next evening and it didn't spin again. I tested it again and it tested good. I figured out that when you are done setting the time and feed times and duration you need to arrow back up the the "Ready" setting and press the "OK" button as if you are selecting the "Ready" icon. After this it has worked perfectly. So just keep that in mind when you are setting this timer.Love it. The fact that you have to set up every single day is kind of a pain, but its simple to set up. My favorite feature about this timer is the fact that you can control the RPM's at which the motor turns . One of my feeders has to set in a tight spot beside a creek and I'm always losing corn to the fishes. With this timer I can set it to low and it will gently throw corn around the base of the feeders. Can't beat it for $25!This timer is really easy to install and program. The only thing that seems to be lacking is that when you disconnect from the battery, you have to reset all your programs.These are not as difficult to use as others have stated, I have three installed on my lease. Mainly they are time consuming to set up because you have to turn off the feedings you dont want. The first one took me about 10 mins to set-up because I was unfamiliar and the rest take me 3-7 minutes. Overall I really like the functionality battery meter etc.Awesome upgrade to old feeders. Just cut and splice wires, and connect the alligator clips and you are ready to go. I really like the motor speed settings. You can control the feed rate and reduce your feed area when needed. Great product and great value.Bought two of these timers to replace in old spinners going on second year. No problems. Have one working for my chickens feeding four times a day. My daughter had one that a storm blowed feeder down rain and mud got on it . Wipped it down with alcohol and soft rag let it dry , still works going on four years.Purchased this unit to replace an older Wildgame Innovations timer. This one is easier to program. My old timer lasted 10+ years and I hope this one last longer. Time will tell.I have a bunch of these and haven't had any problems. They are a little bit slower to program than some of the other ones I've used. I haven't had a single failure with 5 of them running in the last 6 months. I like being able to program by the day. I feed a little more during the week Mon-Fri because those are the days I always go hunting.
