A little pricey for a timer, but I can't argue it's been amazing. The packaging was beautiful and very much reminiscent of an Apple product. Very clean, very simple, very sleek. I actually use the box to transport it between work and home.The clock itself is clean. There are no numbers on the front, just the dial and the status light (red for paused, purple for break). It goes back and forth taking away the color and then filling back up on breaks so its easy to keep track. It's really nice and almost peaceful. Classic alarms and numbers counting down make me anxious, but having a visual timer is so much better for me.It doesn't tick or anything. The beeps are very subtle and not shocking or disturbing. Even at the loudest setting it's still pretty quiet. In fact I've missed it a few times when wearing headphones in the office (where people were talking as well). It has two noise level settings but you can also turn the noise off.On the back is the screen where you can set how long you want the timer for. You can also set intervals and breaks, which makes it great for the pomodoro method. So you can say I want to do four 25 minute intervals with a five minute break and it will swap between them automatically. There's a button on top to quickly pause and play (or reset) as needed. You can also check your total time spent.The battery lasts a long time. I fully charged it a few days ago when I got it and I've been able to use it all week without having to recharge (I do turn it off when I'm done with work for the day).The color is nice, the design is clean, functionality is pretty versatile. I do feel like it's helping me stay focused better. It's also nice when someone comes over to talk, I can easily pause my session, which helps me keep track of my work time better, but is also a visual cue to them that they are interrupting. Used in conjunction with my pomodoro planner, this has really helped me be noticeably more productive and helped my mentality in general. I don't feel like the day is such a slog because it's broken into chunks instead of big long hours. Sometimes I even get annoyed that it's break time, but it's a good reminder to stand up and move around for a bit and give my eyes a break from the computer.This has probably been one of the best purchases I've made for myself. Would highly recommend to anyone struggling to stay focused or on task or if they just want to be more organized with their time.
