I ordered this clock as black but it came as a gray (definitely not black). It's fine besides that. Just annoyed with the false advertisement of a black clock.I found it easy to set up and read. It has a wall mount "template" to make marking the screw holes easy! I like the battery configuration of 2xAAA for the clock and 4xAA for the display. Changing the AA batteries won't lose time!One note: The first time I inserted the batteries (without the protective plastic), the display didn't come on. I had to remove and reinsert the AA batteries to get them to work. So, don't despair if you have a blank screen initially. Try reinserting the batteries.Nice clock with big, easy to read numbers.This light is listed for seniors....this needs lighting in order to be seen!Love it so much this is our second clock.good price, very nice clockWhen getting up early in the morning it’s great to see a big digital display instead of squinting when your eyes are still foggy.This would have been a great clock, however, there is no backlight (or any light) so you cannot see the time in a darkened room. I returned it. If you don't need to see it across a darkened room, then this is a nice clock.
