Stupidly, I didn't check to see that this candle requires C batteries. C batteries are quite expensive. However, the product was exactly as described and great quality. It has a timer in case you forget to turn it off so that should save on batteries.Wanted a romantic atmosphere these don't do it! Very saddling made! And they were all shipped in a post office envelope ?I have always loved candles and had never found a flameless candle that lived up to my expectations until now.These little candles are so pretty and every one lights up. just as they should. They are exactly as pictured with a realistic candle flicker (pale yellow).I love that I can leave them on for entertaining and not worry that someone will accidentally knock them over and create a fire. If you are looking for this size flameless candle I don't think you will be disappointed, I am 100% satisfied. They are fabulous!
