It sounded too good to be true -- and for me it was.I could never figure out how to do much more than set the time and alarmsI never could figure out how to use the timer and I am very tech savvy.The most disappointing thing is there is no 'backlight'-- I bought it to try to wean myself from my iPhone at the bed and since there is no backlight you can't see the time at night
