I had some of these I've found over the years and saw a better selection on Amazon. I bought several different kinds. They work great. They are especially handy when you want to subtly light a wreath but have no electrical connection. The timer feature is great. I just worked them into my wreaths and hid the battery boxes in the back. No problem. They took care of themselves. Lasted about 2 months on a set of batteries. I also bought some longer strings of these. Buy good batteries. I've found that IKEA carries really good batteries and really good prices. Otherwise Duracell works well.Very nice system, not a battery drainer at all. It is a little pricy from what I saw in retail, but those are only white. I was not able to find orange anywhere else, so that is well worth it to me, to get what I wanted. The 3 position switch system is neat, especially the slow fade on/off. I bought another a little later.PERFECT...Didn't want to worry about a plug so I got this... They are soooo perfect, very thin wired string they blends in perfect.The nicest part is it has several settings with auto shut off !!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!!We hot-glued these LED'd under the roof of our Christmas stable to illuminate the people and animals below . Every thing was gently illuminated. The LED's are tiny, so you might want to double up for more illumination. We are happy with the results.These are nice and bright!! A little delay is shipping but its Christmas time ,what can you expect. Id buy these again.yupGreat lights that don't heat up! Very bright and small.
