At first, I wasn't sure I would like this product. I read reviews that were not very positive but, now that I've used it for a while, I am VERY pleased with this product.I have set it many times and it works fine. The "vibrate setting" functions very well and I like the compact size. It's also light-weight and won't add a burden to your backpack.It's not flashy but it will meet your need to be awaken in a room full of hikers without disturbing anyone else.Suggest you give it a try because I believe you will like it very much.Great job Amazing-zon.
