I am getting set up to anodize aluminum, and for the process need to work with different chemicals and the parts need to be in each one for a specific amount of time. So, I got some of these so each process could have its own timer already set before I begin. I didn't want to use my phone for a timer because then I would have to handle my phone while gloves on, and potentially with chemicals on the gloves. These inexpensive stopwatches are perfect for what I need to do. They can be used as stopwatch, keeping track of time, or as a countdown timer, which is what I want to do.I was pleasantly surprised when I turned one off, and when I turned it on, it not only was still in timer mode, but it had my preset time already there as well. I wasn't really expecting it to remember the preset time, but I'm very happy it did!The buttons are well marked and setting the preset time is very intuitive. I did not need to bother with the instructions at all.It's nice they come with a battery, but I'm not sure about the quality of the battery, one had a dent in it, and I just squished the dent back out... It does work, but I don't know how much I trust a battery that has the name "Bursto" that is also easy to squish by hand... sounds like maybe busting is what it's good at so the name is appropriate.I didn't feel the quality of the battery was worth changing my rating, because I would put a reliable battery in it anyway.Overall, I am really happy with these stopwatches!
