Great Value!I used this feeder for an entire season and then some. No problems at all. The batteries lasted longer than I would have expected (over 3 months--I just changed them just in case), and the feeder collapses on itself when it's time to move it out, so it fits easily in the trunk and in storage. Unlike others, I had no trouble with squirrels. I believe this is because I hung the feeder by think paracord from a branch some 25' off the ground. The squirrels couldn't make it down the line and there was nothing close enough to jump from. I hung the feeder so that it was eye-height when I stood on my toes, so I could open the top, and then load it from a bag of corn off my shoulder. The weight will typically lower the feeder 6"-18", which is still above where a squirrel will jump.I did find that the deer would occasionally "paw" at the feeder, as I found mud on the top and sides of the feeder. This may have been a function of my parsimonious feeding in the morning, only. This is a lot of feeder for the money and I'm happy as a clam with it.
