The initial cost is something. But this ac is one hell of a Rock Star. Talk about cooling you down... and very quiet. It hardly uses electricity....had a no name, 5k ac, rated at 12 for energy savings. More like 5. The electricity bill was through the roof for this ac. Typical Chinese flim flame on a no brand name unitThis unit is worth every penny. I am so amazed over this technology and this unt and the materials used are top notch.
