This NSi Industries TORK A530MA mechanical timer can handle up to 20 amp resistive loads, 7 amp tungsten lighting loads, or 1 hp motor loads at 125 VAC. This timer features a 30 minute maximum variable time setting. The housing fits in a standard electrical box for in-wall mounting, and features a spring-wound twist knob and almond face. The timer also accepts 250 and 277 VAC input voltages for commercial applications. This mechanical timer is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) Listed for quality assurance and is suitable for use indoors to control lighting and appliances.Time switches (also known as timers) are used to automatically turn electrical devices on or off at preset time intervals during a daily or weekly period.
