The Franklin Machine 151-8800 helps kitchens operate more efficiently by timing eight tasks at once, and it features count-down and count-up functionality, the latter of which tracks how much time has elapsed between actions. So it is visually appealing, the timer’s white case blends in on white kitchen walls, while the 7-inch height ensures the buttons and screen are large enough for quick operation. This timer isn't small. It is seven÷ inches tall. The two display screens are large and easy to read. However, the screens are NOT illuminated. The eight timers can be programmed with a fixed time and label description (very useful). We use it everyday. It's nice to be able to key in the time and press Start. The left screen displays the remaining time. When the timer expires, the left screen display a count-up time that has elapsed since the timer expired. The Right screen displays the active timer (P1 through P8). It also displays the timer's label. The timer indicator light next to the timer P1 through P8 illuminates. A loud beeper sounds. It can be heard thoughout the house. The power source options are a 9 volt battery or a 9 volt power supply (not included). The quality is very good. Shipping was very fast. I would buy it again.
