This works great. You have to install it on your natural gas line so if you are not comfortable with that, you will have to hire someone. It worked great for 3 years and then stopped. I am buying another one because there is not much to choose from. Once I replace it, I will take the old one apart and see if it can be fixed.REPAIR: This unit is easy to repair. Pull the plastic cap off by pulling it straight up. Unscrew the three screws. Pull the cover plate off. Pull the timer unit out by pulling it straight up. Spray WD40 in it. You will need to clean out the old gummed up oil and grease using lots of WD40. Wiggle the little wheel back and forth a bit. You will know it is fixed when the wheel starts going back and forth on its own and it makes a clicking clock sound. Spray some good lubricant like silicone spray. Turn the clock shaft until the arm moves in which would be the off position. Reassemble.
