This is a great timer that works well with our bathroom lights and fans. The LEDs in the switch are blue and they are bright enough that we don't need a night light in the bathrooms anymore. With lights this bright, you probably won't want to install these switches in a place where you want to hang out in the dark such as a bedroom or TV room.Having our bath fans on a timer not only reduces the electricity use of the fan itself, but it also lowers our gas bill since we aren't accidentally pumping lots of warm house air outside in the winter.
