I initially thought the seller only shipped the dryer headpiece and not the stand kit. I live in a large apartment building with a package room and was expecting everything to be in one box. As shown in my photo, the stand is in its own separate box. If I lived in a house I’d have seen both boxes but in a room with dozens of other boxes I didn’t notice the second one so just a heads up so you don’t think you’re missing parts like I initially thought.As for the dryer itself, it looks awesome. Great quality and I love that unlike the 514 that I bought a few years ago, this one lets you control the air speed in addition to the temp and time. I also bought this one because I recently did a big chop in order to wear type 4 wash-n-gos (wng) and didn’t want the upflow air action of the 514. (Loose hair in your crown will get caught in the fan!) I haven’t used it yet but I’m confident this is going to work beautifully to set my wng and cut my drying time from 90+ min to 60, maybe even 45! It was surely an investment (omg $694) but my hope is that the dryer will be an integral part of my new healthy hair routine.
