That's not hyperbole -- this scale is incredibly easy to use. It looks great in the kitchen. And it seems very accurate.First, ease of use. Got a dish you need to hold what you're measuring? No problem. Put the dish on top of the scale, turn it on, and it automatically zeroes out. Heck yeah! Add your food or whatever you're measuring and you get a seemingly very accurate reading. When it powers off, it resets. So for your next use, just set another dish on top to zero out, or nothing at all. This scale will automatically adjust for you. This is an outstanding feature.Second, the scale actually looks great, too. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a techie. But this is a really nice scale with a glass surface. The LED goes off when not in use. It looks right at home next to my Vitamix. Because it's glass, it's also really easy to keep it clean. I usually just wipe it down with whatever I'm cleaning with at the time.Finally, I do say "seems" very accurate because honestly, I don't have a good scale. I've tried the manual scales where you have the little dial to move it back and forth to adjust for having a holder, but those are always difficult to use and I usually do not have confidence in the measurements. With this one, I don't have another scale to compare it to, but it seems to me like it is accurate. That's the best I can give you here. In any case, it's definitely more accurate than my old analog-spring scale.I highly recommend this product. If you need a scale, get the best one -- accurate, looks great, and easy to use.
