Have an elderly cat that doesn't see very well. We don't park in our garage because his food bowl & litter box are in there. I use this to turn on a 2' fluorescent light for him at night. Garage door has Windows in it, so I set it to turn on light when it gets dark & turn off when it get light. It has a grounded plug & 2 grounded outlets. The photo cell works great; the fluorescent light does not create enough light to immediately turn it back off. It has multiple timing settings & slots on back to mount to wall using small screws. Works flawlessly and well worth the price!
