This timer works very well, is easy to install and operate. I am using it on an attic ventilator which I used to turn on and forget to turn off, now that is no longer a possibility. It replaces the on/off wall switch already there and is far more reliable than the cheap Home Depot and Lowes Defiant brands which I tried only to discover that they are not reliable - do not last very long. I would highly recommend Intermatic timers over the Defiant brand. I actually had two of the Defiant timers fail within a few months, so I have little confidence in their reliability.
